Biography DJ Master Jammer was a former member of High Wycombe’s No 1 soul sound system, Master Jammers, formed back in 1981 – now carried on by him since 1994.  The then 5 piece MJs played at various soul events including all dayers, weekenders and local events up and down South East England, playing alongside some of the then new acts like Light of the World, Level 42, Maxi Priest and DJs such as David Rodigan, Paul Trouble Anderson and Tim Westwood. DJ MasterJammer’s influences came from the club scene by listening to the likes of Robbie Vincent, George Power, Froggy and Chris Hill. Throughout this time DJ MJ explored the Soul Scene in a big way by arranging trips to various soul events such as Caister Soul Weekender, Prestatyn Soul Weekender, Lycyem All dayers and Slough All nighters amongst others. In the early nineties DJ Master Jammer was playing in various clubs such at The Attic, Cotton Club and Club X in the High Wycombe area and more recently @Magoo’s in Henley-on-Thames.
